The building in this painting is thought to be Longacres, but there is
still some doubt. She signed this "E. Goodenough '35." From the green
seen in the painting, it can be assumed that this was done in spring or
summer of 1935. Eleanor was married in September 1935; thus, it would be
logical that she would paint Longacres and not her married home. However,
the building and the landscape in this painting bear resemblance both to
Longacres and to her married home. Therein lies the doubt.
