As of today, 7 January 2008, it has been two years since the highway pileup that eventually claimed the life of Amy Schnearle-Pennywitt, an Ann Arbor firefighter. I didn’t want to let the day pass without commemoration, so I stopped and left a rose at the plaque in front of the fire station at which she worked.
