Michigan beat Wisconsin on Saturday; that was good. And the day was even better because I finally got to meet the UM Army man!
I have been wanting to meet him since I started wearing my helmet to games, and I finally got the opportunity on Saturday. He is a great guy — very friendly, and a staunch Michigan fan.
I looked all over for you at that game. We got last minute tickets because people are afraid of rain. Never found you though. Imagine not seeing you in a little crowd like that.
Most weeks you might have had a chance of spotting me, but this week, for the first time in a long time, I actually found a validated student ticket. It’s a bit harder to spot me in the rowdy crowd that is the student section.
And yeah, I know a number of people avoided the game because of the threat of rain. They look silly now; they missed a good game, and it didn’t rain.
Where did you sit?
We sat opposite you in section 9.
I’m looking forward to some good pictures from South Bend.
You should check out the College Football Hall of Fame while you are down there.
Wow, you really were far away from me. Almost exactly opposite.
I’m expecting some fun pictures from South Bend. It should be a great day on campus. I’m really looking forward to seeing a game there. Even better: I get to experience the game from the student section.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if we’ll be able to make it to the Hall of Fame. But I hope to get there sooner or later. Justin will be down there for another school year after this one, so I’m sure there will be more trips to South Bend.
