Sounds & Sights: 10 July 2014

Was it yet another gorgeous Thursday evening for Sounds & Sights? Of course it was!

The Dorkestra was on the library lawn. They’re always a lot of fun.

CrossBow was by the courthouse.

CrossBow is very enthusiastic.

What, you think I’m kidding?

I’m not kidding.

Seven Bridges was on Middle. (If I’d said “Seven Bridges were on Middle,” Chelsea would have a lot of overpasses for no reason!)

Also on Middle, there was a puppy making friends.

The puppy wasn’t an official part of Sounds & Sights. He was just being a puppy. But now that I think about it, maybe having a Puppy Station wouldn’t be a bad idea.

As usual, the chalk art station was on Middle. This little one was just taking a break.

Down by the clock tower was 2×4, a tap dancing duo.

They had boards set up for kids to dance along with them. This ended up being a very popular attraction!

This little guy was serious about his fun.

Kari Holmes and the Modern Day Drifters were under the gazebo. These are two of the Drifters.

Here’s Kari Holmes.

Their audience included this energetic young dancer.

She wasn’t the only one dancing!

Magician Jeff Wawrzaszek of A2 Magic was down by the fountain. (FUN FACT: his last name is pronounced “copy-paste.”)

Jeff had an assistant for one trick.

Mixed Nuts was at the Sylvan.

Dave Boutette was in the alley.

Of course, The Dorkestra was still entertaining the crowd back at the library lawn.

Remember I said The Dorkestra is fun? Here’s proof.

Do you want to join the fun? Chelsea’s Sounds & Sights runs every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 through mid-August!
