The livery demolition continued. I arrived around midday, after some work had already been done, but I arrived during a lull in the action.
It wasn’t long before that lull came to an end.
After knocking down the rest of the second story, they were left with one big piece to remove…
…but that was no real challenge for the excavator.
Once it was on the ground…
…they folded it in half.
That was when work came to a halt again, so I took a few more photos and left for the day.
Thursday’s work opened up a view of the east side of the Mack.
They made good progress on Thursday, but the job was far from complete. Come back tomorrow for photos from Friday’s work.
