Saturday was Chelsea’s annual tournament, so there were multiple games scheduled; however, just when the second game was about to begin, the wind picked up significantly and the western sky looked like this:

Several bolts of lightning accompanied the menacing sky, and it was obvious the rain would arrive before long, so the Chelsea staff prepared the field for the impending storm:

A few minutes later, both teams huddled in the dugouts as the severe storm raged:

The storm didn’t last long — maybe 15 minutes — but it dumped enough rain on the field to ensure the end of the tournament:
