I never understand why sometimes they break up the fights, and other times they don’t.
Then again, I have seen one hockey game in my entire life.
Ricky: at the high school level, they ALWAYS break up the fights. Fighting can get you kicked out of the game, and in Michigan high school hockey, getting kicked out of a game gets you a two-game suspension. They don’t want fighting at the high school level. (I’m not sure if anyone got ejected due to the above-pictured dustup; they might have just handed out a couple penalties. I don’t remember.)
