Chelsea football welcomed Dexter to town.
A win would guarantee Chelsea a return to the playoffs after a one-year absence. Also, a win would be a win over Dexter, which is something every Chelsea athlete always wants forever and ever. #BeatDexter
Before the game, the student section went for the festive look with a color blast.
The parking lot couldn’t help but dress up for the game, too.
This Friday night featured miniature cheerleaders.
That meant there were a LOT of cheerleaders!

Hint: look for the pink socks.
The weather cooperated for a while, but in the second quarter it started to rain.
The student section had an idea of what to do with the rain.

The crowd was prepared.

…but he’s actually letting everyone know how long Chelsea has been relentlessly defeating Dexter in football.
Dexter kept the score reasonably close in the first half, but that didn’t last past halftime. Chelsea scored on its first possession of the second half, and Dexter didn’t score at all in the second half.
The win guaranteed Chelsea a playoff berth, and the celebration of this win rivaled that of a playoff win.
Chelsea wraps up the regular season against Haslett. The game will be in Chelsea on Friday at 7pm. The Bulldogs still have a chance at hosting a playoff game, so the final game is an important one!
