The Monitor Base Ball Club opened its 2015 home schedule by welcoming Northville to town.

In the above photo it looks like it was raining. That’s not rain in the air. That’s spring in the air.

Northville has fun hats!

I’m all too familiar with the expression on Reno’s face in this photo:

I make that expression a lot during practice because a lot of my hits do exactly what Reno’s is doing in that photo: hit the ground about five feet in front of home plate. (Reno is a far better hitter than I am! Unfortunately, swinging bunts can happen to anyone.)

After the game, one young Monitor fan decided to have some fun of his own.
