For yet another week, Sounds & Sights faced an uncertain weather forecast. This compelled the library to move its comedy show inside again.
The change of venue didn’t stop the laughter.
Meanwhile, the rest of Sounds & Sights was outside. There was a very light rain early in the festivities, but it didn’t seem to bother anyone.
In the above photo, notice that it’s raining while the sun is out. Do you know what that brings?
The rainbow is leading directly to Smokehouse 52. Does that mean the pot at the end of the rainbow is filled with brisket?
The light rain stopped entirely not long after Sounds & Sights started, and the rest of the evening was dry and beautiful.
The North Creed Fiddlers were on South Street.
Ali Sesnovich was in the alley.
Chalk art by the clocktower was as popular as ever.
The Blue Light Band was at the Glazier Building.
The crowd was enjoying the music of the Blue Light Band!
Blues Dog Inquisition was at the clocktower gazebo.
The Bus Stop Poets were at the Sylvan.
Salmagundi was on Middle Street.
People of all ages were moving to the music…
…and one spectator was knitting to the music.
Do you want to join the fun? Do you want to knit in the streets of Chelsea? Of course you do! Come to downtown Chelsea every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30!
That’s really thinking out of the box. Thanks!
